With an impressive background in interior architectural design and project management spanning two decades, Kathleen brings a wealth of expertise to her role. She has extensive experience in the senior living industry and in workplace design for technology giants, and has additionally managed projects in hospitality, mixed-use residential, higher education, and government spaces throughout all regions of the United States.
Kathleen has led creative teams in dual roles as lead designer and project manager, providing invaluable guidance and mentorship to designers and consultants while developing internal best practices to streamline productivity. She has extensive knowledge in interior architecture and design, construction, and furniture systems and specifications, offering clients a complete start-to-finish service on each project.
Kathleen advocates for clients and residents as a part of her design ethos and values the human connection within senior living interior design. “I found a jewel of a team at Warner Design,” Kathleen said. “Their specialization in senior living design struck a chord with my passion for creating spaces that combine hospitality, residential, and healthcare elements under one roof. It’s a great responsibility and a privilege to ensure our elders feel comfortable, safe, and proud of their new homes.”
Kathleen’s credentials include a degree in Interior Design from the University of Massachusetts and accreditations as a LEED AP ID+C, WELL AP, Fitwel Ambassador, and Certified Interior Designer (CID) in California. Plus, her special interest in wellness design adds a valuable dimension to Warner Design’s capabilities.
Beyond her professional achievements, Kathleen enjoys gardening, yoga, cycling, hiking, and a recently rekindled love for horseback riding. Together with her partner, she explores new experiences, attending baseball games, concerts, and discovering scenic destinations such as Half Moon Bay and Lake Tahoe.
