Kathleen Gleason, our Senior Interior Designer, brings an impressive 20-year background in interior architectural design and project management to the Warner Design team, with expertise spanning diverse sectors including big tech, corporate workplaces, mixed-use residential, hospitality, and senior living spaces across the United States. With a love for the human connection within the senior living interior design industry and a desire for the hands-on approach found at Warner Design, Kathleen recently joined our team, bringing her expert knowledge of interior design, construction, furniture systems and specifications, and team leadership.
Passionate about how senior living and active adult interior design blends hospitality, residential, and healthcare elements, Kathleen embraces the responsibility of creating comfortable, safe, and welcoming spaces for seniors transitioning into new communities. As for the future of the industry, she hopes to bring a focus to serving underserved populations through senior housing. Beyond her dedication to interior design, Kathleen is a certified yoga instructor and enjoys wellness activities including cycling, hiking, gardening, and horseback riding.
Karyn Pollard – Interior Designer
Meet our Interior Designer, Karyn Pollard! A San Francisco Bay Area native, Karyn started as an intern in her last year of college in 2015 and fell in love with the Warner Design team. Her passion for senior living interior design blossomed, and she now works on every aspect of the projects, from schematic design all the way through the final on-site installation. No two days are the same, and she loves the challenge involved. Karyn has a deep understanding of how senior living design blends aspects of multifamily, residential, and hospitality interior design, bringing insight and a fresh perspective to designing comfortable, enriching environments for senior residents.
Looking forward, Karyn has been on the forefront of designing active adult communities – a fairly new classification in the senior living industry, of which Warner Design has pioneered in design. In her free time, Karyn travels as much as she can (having traveled to 16 countries thus far), has fun behind the mic for karaoke, and cuddles with her mini Bernedoodle, Zoey.
Jenny Zhang – Interior Designer
Jenny Zhang, an Interior Designer with Warner Design since 2017, has been in the design industry since 2012 and previously specialized in hospitality design. She infuses the hospitality perspective into her senior living spaces, bringing in new innovations and technology to help shape the programming of senior living communities. Her passion lies in being able to integrate thoughtful design with new technologies to improve wellness and activity levels of senior adults. “It’s amazing to be able to express my creativity while making a difference for senior residents,” she said.
At Warner Design, Jenny adores the opportunity to lead projects from start to finish and appreciates the close-knit and supportive interior design team. Outside of the office, she loves gardening, camping, and going skiing with her two boys.
Nadya Kosasih – Junior Interior Designer
Nadya Kosasih, a talented Junior Interior Designer, embarked on her professional journey at Warner Design in 2021 after graduating with her Interior Architecture and Design degree. Embracing the collaborative working style of our design team, Nadya jumped into a diverse set of tasks encompassing FF&E and finish selections, building design drawings and models, and creating presentations.
Nadya’s commitment to the well-being of the elderly resonates deeply, and she looks forward to contributing to industry improvements and community upgrades to enrich the wellness and quality of life for senior living residents. She brings a global perspective to the design industry, pulling inspiration from her many travels and through living abroad in Indonesia and Singapore.
Lori Chevalier – Procurement Agent
Meet our dedicated Procurement Agent, Lori Chevalier, who has been an integral part of the Warner Design team for 23 years. Once the designers have selected the FF&E, the project is handed over to Lori and our sister company, Red Pen Procurement, to manage the purchasing, coordination, warehousing, and installation of the project’s FF&E and decorative materials. She notes, “It’s really rewarding to see the project come alive after coordinating the install. The designers create beautiful spaces for seniors to live in and I love orchestrating the final stages of the design.”
As Procurement Agent, Lori enjoys building relationships with vendors and warehouses, and has cultivated relationships that have lasted for many years. In her free time, Lori enjoys music and going to concerts (so many concerts, in fact, that she’s lost count!).
